Søndag 8. mai
After breakfast, a 2, 3 hours riding tour will be provided around the beautiful landscapes of Maggie’s Ranch.
Maggie’s Ranch is situated in the beautiful Valley of Glăjerie, at only 8 km from Râşnov, in Braşov County. The ranch offers a great opportunity to explore this amazing area of the Bucegi Mountains, to get fresh air, and spend time relaxing with friends and family members.
Maggie, the host and horse trainer of the ranch wanted something here that reminds her of home. Her ranch is indeed a great counterpart of any stylish American horse ranch.
Maggie’s Ranch hosts 17 horses out of which 5 horses are in boarding. Maggie was mostly used to Trakehner and Hanoverian horses in the States, so the Lippizan horse was a great challenge to her. She admits that they are extremely smart and beautiful animals, but stubbornness is also a general characteristic of this breed. “It is like playing chess with them, you have to be quite strategic. If you make it seem that it was their idea, they will do anything for you.”
In the afternoon you’ll be invited to experience the history, the myth, the intrigue and the magic of the DRACULA CASTLE ……
